A Dog Gone Good Idea
Safe
And Approved By The Humane Society

Do you have one of those dogs that dart when the front
door opens? One that is usually well behaved until someone
comes to visit, the front door opens, then ZOOOOM, nothing
but wind and a tail out of sight.
It has happened to me more time than I can count. I never
knew when or if my dog would ever return home. However,
the Humane Society could be counted on to be there, out
there somewhere, to pick up my dog and wait for my arrival
with leash and wallet. I really never knew if my sweet
Boopsey-Woopsey would return home, but now thanks to
DogWatch, I don't have to worry or support the pound
anymore.
On one of my Saturday travels I entered The Frame Place in
Santa Rosa and was greeted by three small, well-behaved
dogs. Quickly closing the door behind me (out of habit),
the owner Mary explained, "Don't worry, there's an
hidden boogeyman that keeps these dogs inside the
shop."
After she explained and I listened carefully - I
immediately called Robert Close, DogWatch's sales rep for
the West Coast, to see if this was something that could
work for me. He said it would and within a week came to my
home to install a boundary wire that transmits a harmless
radio signal underneath the house to an area just around
my front door.
I asked all the obvious questions, "Is it harmful? Will it
affect my kids? Can I become sterile?" He patiently
assured me that this was something more than just an
hidden boogeyman. There was some necessary dog training
which was needed to minimize the experiences of electronic
stimulation my dog would receive.
So, me and my sweet Boopsey-Woopsey and her DogWatch
lightweight, water-resistant "receiver" collar began the
in-depth, 10 minute daily, two-week training program. It
was all pretty easy and my dog figured out her boundaries
in less than a day. And, she was only zapped twice.
Local leash laws are becoming strictly enforced and the
fear of losing my dog to a passing motorist became a real
threat. To our relief the DogWatch system has made our
leisure days and evenings of entertaining a lot less
stressful. Just knowing we can relax while we open the
front door and let people in is reassuring. Best of all,
it's hidden and not some ugly, ungodly, cyclone fence that
encompasses our entire property.
For more facts, pricing and information on how to adapt
the system to your own dog's needs, just call
1-800-793-3436 and they can explain it all to you. And, if
you're interested in becoming a dealer, Robert can set you
up too. Apparently this is a new, booming business with
ample supply and demand.
